The Reception Desk at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum

Easily the most complex project we’ve ever tackled. This 21-foot, compound curved reception desk pushed our skills to the limit, demanding precision, problem-solving, and an all-out effort to meet the National Veterans Memorial and Museum’s grand opening in October 2018.

With just five months to bring their ambitious design to life, we spent the first two strategizing—figuring out how to manufacture something this intricate at scale. Every step was a challenge, nothing was routine. From engineering seamless curves to integrating network and electrical solutions, and even solving the logistics of delivering this massive piece—this was fabrication at its finest.
